Undergraduate study

Manchester normally requires a recognised foundation programme after the Bangladesh HSC; A-level and IB applicants are considered under separate direct-entry requirements. Compare both the degree destination and progression conditions when researching a pathway provider.

Master’s and further study

Manchester considers a four-year bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution for taught master’s admission, with grade requirements that can vary by institution and department. Send your full transcript and identify any prerequisite subjects rather than relying only on an overall GPA.

What will the course and UK living costs be?

Fees depend on your course, intake and individual fee status. Read a university’s international fee schedule and confirm whether the amount is annual or for the complete programme. A deposit may be part of tuition, so avoid counting it twice.

Is a medium-of-instruction letter enough for a UK master’s application?

It is not accepted everywhere. Manchester’s Bangladesh guidance says confirmation of English as the medium of instruction is not sufficient evidence. Check the current English-language policy of your chosen university and programme.

How much does a UK course cost for students from Bangladesh?
