Personal Assistant CV example

What to include in a personal assistant cv: relevant evidence, skills, sample achievement structures and template suggestions.

A useful starting point

Show the principal, the diary load, and discretion. Two pages for senior PAs. Skip office-manager vendor lists if that was not the job. Skip this if you want EA-to-C-suite and have only team admin — use administrator.

These examples illustrate structure, not a real applicant’s history. Replace every sample detail with your own evidence. Follow the employer’s instructions on qualifications, registration, document length and file format.

Evidence to consider

  • Principal’s level
  • Diary and travel
  • Expenses or inbox if true
  • A process you invented

Illustrative achievement bullets

  • PA to a director and 3 reports; 60+ meetings a week in the diary
  • Booked 25 UK trips a year with a preferred-hotel list
  • Ran expenses of ~£4k a month with zero rejected claims in two quarters
  • Created a Monday brief that the director still uses

Relevant skills to substantiate

Diary · Travel · Inbox · Expenses · Discretion · Microsoft 365

What to leave out

  • Photos
  • Gossip
  • Fake “strategic partner” titles

Choose a layout

Explore the elegant template or use it in the CV builder. This is a suggested layout; follow the vacancy’s requirements.

Frequently asked questions

PA vs EA?

EA often supports C-suite. PA may support a director. Use the title you had and the example that matches scope.

Should I name the principal?

Organisation and title are enough unless they agree to be named.

Photo?

No for UK corporate PA roles.
