Administrator CV example

What to include in a administrator cv: relevant evidence, skills, sample achievement structures and template suggestions.

A useful starting point

Systems, volume, and a process you improved. One page unless you lead people. Skip “varied duties”. Skip this if a specialist title fits (legal secretary, school admin, medical receptionist).

These examples illustrate structure, not a real applicant’s history. Replace every sample detail with your own evidence. Follow the employer’s instructions on qualifications, registration, document length and file format.

Evidence to consider

  • Systems
  • Volume
  • A saving or error reduction
  • Confidentiality if relevant

Illustrative achievement bullets

  • Processed 80 purchase invoices a week with a 48-hour turnaround
  • Maintained a shared inbox at under 20 unread at close
  • Built a tracker that cut missed renewals from 6 a year to 0
  • Covered reception and phones for a 25-person office

Relevant skills to substantiate

Microsoft 365 · Invoicing · Diaries · Record keeping · Phones · Accuracy

What to leave out

  • Photos
  • Every Microsoft icon
  • Two pages of chores

Choose a layout

Explore the classic template or use it in the CV builder. This is a suggested layout; follow the vacancy’s requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Is administrator too generic?

Then pick the specialist example (school, medical, legal). If the job is generic, this page is right.
