HR Advisor CV example

What to include in a hr advisor cv: relevant evidence, skills, sample achievement structures and template suggestions.

A useful starting point

Show the employee group, the queries, and ER support you provided. Two pages. Skip manager titles you did not hold. Skip this if you only did payroll admin — say so.

These examples illustrate structure, not a real applicant’s history. Replace every sample detail with your own evidence. Follow the employer’s instructions on qualifications, registration, document length and file format.

Evidence to consider

  • Population supported
  • ER support
  • HRIS
  • CIPD if true

Illustrative achievement bullets

  • First-line HR for 400 retail staff via a ticket queue of 25 a day
  • Supported 9 disciplinaries with notes that survived appeal
  • Ran monthly family-leave calculations with payroll
  • Wrote a manager FAQ that cut repeat tickets 20%

Relevant skills to substantiate

ER support · Policy interpretation · HRIS · Payroll liaison · Manager coaching · Confidentiality

What to leave out

  • Photos
  • Case gossip
  • Policy copy-paste as bullets
