Marketing Manager CV example

What to include in a marketing manager cv: relevant evidence, skills, sample achievement structures and template suggestions.

A useful starting point

Lead with a commercial result, the channel mix, and the budget. Two pages. Skip vanity followers with no revenue. Skip this if you have only executed tasks — use digital-marketing or social examples instead of the manager title.

These examples illustrate structure, not a real applicant’s history. Replace every sample detail with your own evidence. Follow the employer’s instructions on qualifications, registration, document length and file format.

Evidence to consider

  • Budget
  • Channels
  • A pipeline or revenue proof
  • Team or agency you ran

Illustrative achievement bullets

  • Grew qualified inbound 32% year on year on a £180k media budget
  • Rebuilt the website IA; demo requests rose 19% in a quarter
  • Managed an agency of 8 and an internal pair of executives
  • Cut CAC 14% by killing two underperforming paid campaigns

Relevant skills to substantiate

Campaign planning · Budget · Analytics · Agency management · Messaging · CRM

What to leave out

  • Photos unless a consumer brand asked
  • Every social network
  • Unowned brand-awareness vibes

Choose a layout

Explore the modern template or use it in the CV builder. This is a suggested layout; follow the vacancy’s requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Do I include follower counts?

Only with a business result. Followers alone are not a KPI for this seat.

Should I use a creative template?

Modern is enough. Creative is fine if text stays selectable. Avoid infographic CVs.

Two pages?

Yes.
